New Jersey, "The Garden State", is the fourth smallest state in the United States. In spite of its small size, and the fact that it is the most densely populated state, more than half of New Jersey is wooded. In addition, it is famous for its shoreline.
There are ten National Park Services properties that are in or partly in New Jersey including the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve. In addition, New Jersey has 50 state parks, 19 of which have camping facilities. So though small, there is plenty for the intrepid RV camper to do in the State of New Jersey.
