Some friends and I recently hired an RV from your Las Vegas location and had a great experience - the instructions were clear and the RV performed well. Our real pleasure came when it came time to return the RV. We had underestimated the amount of miles we had to cover that day and ended up phoning the LA office just before 5pm asking when they would be open until. We were told they closed at 5pm but could remain open for around 15min. We got there on 5.15pm expecting to be turned away and were instead greeted by Stephanie who did everything she could to help us. She stayed well after she should have to finalise our rental, providing great customer service and even called us a cab for the onward journey to our accommodation. She was a delight to deal with and, in our party's view, she strongly deserves a raise and/or promotion. If all our experiences in the US were as pleasant as our dealings with Stephanie, we would have no hesitation in returning. There is no need for a response to this feedback, but we certainly hope that the staff in the LA office are made aware of our gratitude. We would definitely recommend El Monte to others based on this experience. "

Also, your teams at the rental sites also helped us on our way, starting with a friendly on time pick up from Tim and rapid dispatch from Dublin, Ca to the superb return service and transfer to YVR that we received from Wolfgang at Ferndale, WA. In fact Wolfgang surpassed all expectations when we started to plan our next trip and he was quite happy to show us around a variety of RVs on site to help us with our planning, even though his centre was busy! Great stuff!! We did experience an minor problem with the battery RV which Wolfgang listed and assured that it would get repaired for the next renters. We also realized, about a quarter way into our trip, that we did not receive our free SatNav as part of our repeat renters bonus, this was obviously not crucial as I always bring my own anyway just in case. However, when I mentioned this to Wolgang, he was keen to put this right and he applied a discount to our outstanding balance. Denise, once again you and your team have excelled in the service that you offer and I am delighted to continue to be able to give you very positive feedback about our trips. I write on an airline forum fairly regularly and have said to anyone on there that if they are going to rent an RV in the USA/Canada they MUST use El Monte because of the quality of the RV's rented and service offered!! Anyway, enough of my positive ranting....I wish you a brilliant day and look forward to our next rental (which looks like July next year but I will be in contact soon)."

We have now decided to possibly purchase a motorhome in the next few years because we had such a wonderful time. We are already looking at the calendar to see when we can get away. Next time, we want to try one a little bigger.
First, we would like to thank Elizabeth Nunez for our reservation and update. She explained the different rentals to help us decide what we needed and sent us confirmation quickly. Because the pickup location moved from Oxnard to Ventura, she called us to let us know and re-emailed the contract and other documents to recheck. It was great communication on her part. She was helpful and friendly. Elizabeth is a true asset to El Monte RV.
Secondly, we would like to thank the friendly owners and staff of H&H RV Repair and Storage in Ventura. Customer service is everything, and they sure have the best. Everyone there was so helpful and did their best to get us on the road quickly to start our vacation. They reviewed all areas of the motorhome and gave us advice/suggestions for us first-timers. We were there 45 minutes and felt like we had new friends. We believe your move to Ventura, to this location for RV pickups, was a great one.

From Scott Richard - "A Wonderful Customer Service Experience" - Hello El Monte RV, I'm writing today to tell you about a wonderful customer service experience I had with your company on 6/10/10. I rented an RV to attend Bonnaroo from a private individual and one hour into my trip from Atlanta, GA to Manchester, TN the piece of junk broke down on the highway. My companion and I saw all the money and excitement we invested into going to Bonnaroo falling down the drain as we frantically called RV company after company to find an RV for rent the same day for an event that usually has RV's booked months in advance. After calling a number of places we got hooked up with Joanna from El Monte who found us the last remaining RV in Georgia. The RV place in South Marietta, GA closed at 4:30 pm on that Thursday and we were still stuck on the highway an hour away from the place at 4:00. We called Tim at the pick up site, explained our horrible luck and begged him to stay open until we could get there. Tim said something that took us both by surprise. NO PROBLEM. We didn't arrive until 5:30 and didn't get on the road until 7 pm and all the while Tim stayed well beyond closing time to make sure we got back on the road and were able to enjoy our trip in a quality RV. Tim was a true life saver and really great person. Tim gave us his cell phone number immediately and called us a couple times while we were in route to the RV place on that Thursday. And then Tim called us on Friday to make sure we made it to Bonnaroo and were having a great time. When do you see service like this? Tim was truly our hero. And we can't thank him enough for his kindness and help. Our trip was an amazing success. The RV was plush and way better than the rust bucket that broke down. And next year, we will be booking directly with El Monte RV for our Bonnaroo trip all thanks to our experience with Tim. I wish I knew last names. I know the RV place was in South Marietta GA. My wife and I cannot express the genuine professionalism and courtesy Fred and Jen and their entire staff provided us, especially workcampers Janice and Bill Wild. We experienced extreme temps. of 5 degrees and never lost power or water during those winter days. Their constant commitent to providing guests every need was truly sincere. Many extreme weather conditions occurred during this timeframe and we could always depend on workcampers Bill Wild and his wife Janice to check on our well being. Bill and Jancie are truly dedicated workcampers and strive daily to accomodate the campers needs. I have dealt with many clients for more than 35 years and I know outstanding customer service and dedication when I see it ! In a time when our economy and country is struggling,it is comforting to know that we have a company that emphasis customer service and providing a product, your facilty and your expectations, to make a consumer appreciate trust,loyality and good old American "hard work". I guess it is time to say thank you for your part of that trip. We have been greenhorns, totally, first time in the States, first time travelling with a RV. Our trip turned out great, thanks to your team in Linden and your RV itself. First a friendly welcome and a helpful introduction „What to know about travelling with a RV!“ of your staff in Linden. For our trip plan the advices of your knowledgable manager were absolutely necessary for us greenhorns. In the end, after 2 weeks, we have seen many cities, lots of nature, beautiful coasts and met many nice people. We finished our trip without any accidents, RV problems and wasted time. Stranney, UK - "Thanks for the Freedom to Explore!" - Now that the long, dark winter nights are upon us, we are looking back with pleasure on our wonderful touring holiday in the El Monte R.V. We want to say a belated thank you for giving us the opportunity to travel in such style and in such luxury. We really appreciate how we were treated by yourselves. We followed the itinerary so professionally plotted out for us by Rolf. Recalling it now seems like a fairy tale- Barstow, Williams, Page, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Vegas, Bishop, Yosemite, San Francisco and back down the west coast to Monterey and so on.
What made it even more wonderful was the freedom we had to set our own agenda. The new (El Monte) RV allowed us to stop and explore when we wanted, sleep when we wanted, barbeque when we wanted! How wonderful, that’s living!
We felt like valued customers from the first contact we made with you. Your company has it’s priorities right, money can’t buy genuine kind hearted wholesome care for people. That’s quality. As employees you are a credit to your company.

From M. Daly Shemwell - "We Had A Blast!" - My family and I had a blast taking the RV that we rented to Vegas! We stopped by all the major parks, canyons and tourist spots with our cameras in tote. We even had a brush with death when we were going over some mountains and got stuck in the middle of a blizzard and had no where to stop or turn around and the only sign we could read is that we are in an avalanche area, but we just kept on truckin' and made it through! Who would have thought there would be a blizzard in the end of April. Anywho...just wanted to share that with you and let you know that that was one great vacation, and that my family and myself will one day go on another El Monte RV trip again.
